watergate.info is the work of an Australian school teacher, Malcolm Farnsworth.

It began in 1995 as the first material I ever posted on the World Wide Web. At the time, I was teaching a unit on Watergate to my Year 11 Politics students at Loreto Mandeville Hall in Melbourne.

Thanks to assistance from Grant Fisher, the Systems Administrator at LMH, I simply posted a set of notes I was using with the class.

Within months I found that I was receiving email from students, teachers and others from all round the world, particularly from the United States. The decision was soon made to expand the material.

During the next 5 years, the Watergate site formed part of my main website, australianpolitics.com.

In 2001, the site was established with its own domain.
