Of course it was a real occurrence. Those involved all say it happened. I think Nixon shouldn't have been so paranoid and it wouldn't have happened. |

Oh yes, I lived through it. I KNOW it was a real occurrence. And it caused the first presidential resignation in our country and people went to jail for it. The break-in wasn't the worst part, however. The extreme attempts at cover-up were the worst part. |

Yes, it really happened. while I deeply respect President Nixon for the good he did as President, he deserved what he got for his role in the Watergate cover up. |
