Question: Should the 31 repubcon senators who called the watergate felons "great americans" be booted from congress?
(Posted by: Keith M on 2010-01-27 13:06:37)
They called felon burglars and wiretappers great Americans. Why shouldt the Dems file charges against them for aiding and abetting felons in their crimes? |

FIRST of all, the current situation is NOT watergate. Watergate happened in 1972. Your teevee hasn't come up with a good name for this one yet. Now. Since you morons all claim to worship the constitution so much, explain to us all exactly why you want to violate Article I, Section 9, Clause 3. |

Sure.....I mean, it's not like there's anything important going on in the world right now....right? ...while you're at it, why not ask about the "Bush War Crimes Trials" or ask when the Republican party is going to go extinct..."? ...or you can always fall back on "Why are liberals so much smarter than contards?" That one always seems to brighten your day and, again, requires no actual connection to the substantive world... |

Oooh, you brought up watergate, the great republican scandal. Makes Carter look like a classy guy eh? Anyways, sure, indite them and be merry. Not going to do any good now though, lesson has been learned and the GOP has successfully covered up their ugly deeds and convinced the sheeple that they are the good guys now. Or at least the ones with an IQ lower than 50. |

Agreeing with someone after the fact, even fallaciously, is not a crime. Now should they be voted out is a different question. The voters of their states need to decide that. All this is assuming that this is an actual story, which is suspect since you provide no actual link. |

Didn't Liberals keep telling everyone "Innocent until proved guilty"? |

So, first problem is that no one has said anything about wiretapping... In fact, the FBI affidavit makes no mention of finding any equipment that would be consistent with such an action... |

I wonder how many of them were part of the 30 that voted against a bill that would withhold defense contracts from companies if they restrict their employees from taking workplace sexual assault, battery and discrimination cases to court. |
