John D. Ehrlichman, jailed for his role in the Watergate scandal, has died, aged 73. Ehrlichman was President Richard Nixon's Domestic Affairs Advisor from the start of Nixon's term in 1969. Together with H. R. Haldeman, who died some years ago, Ehrlichman formed part of the "Berlin Wall" that protected Nixon.

Good evening:
I want to talk to you tonight from my heart on a subject of deep concern to every American.
This is the transcript of a White House meeting that discussed milk subsidies.
The meeting was attended by President Richard Nixon, John Connally, John Ehrlichman, Clifford Hardin, John Whitaker, George Schultz, Phil Campbell and Donald Rice.
It took place in the Oval Office from 5.05-5.38pm.
It contains a discussion of the Associated Milk Producers PAC (political action committee) and the electoral value of of milk subsidies for the 1972 election.
